DJ Mascota (Miroslav Petkov) is one of the established names on the Bulgarian club scene, with more than 25 years behind the decks. He began his career in 1998 and, over the years, developed his own recognizable sound and style — driven not by trends, but by groove, emotion, and the connection with the crowd.
Today, his sets move seamlessly between house, afro house, indie dance, and tech house, blending melodic elements, organic rhythms, and powerful club energy. For Mascota, genres have never been limitations, but tools to tell a story on the dancefloor and create the right atmosphere for every moment.
In 2009, he became a resident DJ for the iconic BEDROOM club brand (Sofia & Sunny Beach), further establishing himself as one of the leading names in Bulgaria’s electronic music scene. Throughout the years, he has collaborated on projects and remixes with renowned international and Bulgarian artists, including Crazibiza, Samuele Sartini, D-Trax, Itso Hazarta, Miro, and Grafa.
Mascota is also the creator of the successful “Fashion Compilation” series — a music project that continues to evolve to this day, becoming part of the soundtrack of Bulgaria’s modern club culture. His “Mascota Podcast” is among the most listened-to music podcasts in Bulgaria and ranks in the country’s overall Top 10 podcasts.
In 2012, he was voted “DJ of the Year” in Bulgaria by Awards.bg — recognition of his long-standing dedication to music, contribution to the club scene, and his unique ability to connect with the audience.

DJ Mascota (Мирослав Петков) е едно от утвърдените имена на българската клубна сцена с над 25 години зад пулта. Започва кариерата си през 1998 г., а през годините изгражда собствен стил и разпознаваем sound, воден не от конкретни тенденции, а от усещането за groove, емоция и връзка с публиката.
Днес сетовете му преминават между house, afro house, indie dance и tech house, комбинирайки мелодичност, органични ритми и силна клубна енергия. За Mascota жанровете никога не са били ограничение, а средство да разкаже история на дансинга и да създаде правилната атмосфера за момента.
През 2009 г. става резидент на емблематичната клубна верига BEDROOM (София и Слънчев бряг), където затвърждава мястото си сред водещите DJ-и в България. През годините има колаборации, ремикси и съвместни проекти с едни от най-популярните български световни артисти, сред които Crazibiza, Samuele Sartini, D-Trax, Ицо Хазарта, Миро и Графа.
Mascota е и създател на успешната серия “Fashion Compilation” — музикален проект, който продължава да се развива и до днес, превръщайки се в част в част от саундтрака на модерната клубна култура у нас.
